Enterprise Onboarding Guide

Everything you need to get your enterprise up and running on Bizby. This guide walks through initial activation, team structure, member invitations, SSO, billing, and compliance settings.

After your enterprise is provisioned, you will receive a magic link email from Bizby. Click the link to claim your enterprise team and you will be redirected to your dashboard as the enterprise owner.

As the enterprise owner, you see the Enterprise Dashboard with an overview of all sub-teams, members, and usage across your organization. Regular team members see only their own sub-team dashboard.

To access admin settings, click the Enterprise Settings button in the header. From there you can manage teams, members, security, billing, compliance, and audit logs using the tabs along the top.

Sub-teams let you organize members into groups like Design, Engineering, or Product.

  1. Open Enterprise Settings and go to the Teams tab
  2. Click Create Sub-Team and give it a name
  3. Set a seat budget for each sub-team to control how many members it can hold
  4. Optionally assign a sub-team admin who can manage their own members

Each sub-team gets its own dashboard and content area. Members only see boards within their sub-team.

  1. Open Enterprise Settings and go to the Members tab
  2. Click Invite Members
  3. Paste one or more email addresses (bulk paste supported)
  4. Assign each invitee to a sub-team
  5. Click Send Invites

Invitees receive an email with a link to join your enterprise. Their license activates immediately.

Single sign-on lets your team authenticate through your existing identity provider instead of email/password.

  1. Open Enterprise Settings and go to the Security tab
  2. Under SSO Configuration, select your provider type (SAML 2.0 or OIDC)
  3. Enter your provider details (Client ID, Issuer URL, and Client Secret for OIDC)
  4. Add your email domain(s) so Bizby knows which users belong to your enterprise
  5. Test the connection to verify everything works

Bizby supports Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID), Okta, and any standard OIDC or SAML 2.0 provider.

The Security tab also has External access, where you decide how people outside your organization reach its boards: allow or turn off guests and share links, and require guests to use two-step verification. Requiring it turns share links off.

Open Enterprise Settings and go to the Billing tab to manage your subscription.

  • Seats used vs paid: See how many licenses are active and how many are available
  • AI credit allocation: View your team’s AI credit balance and usage
  • Renewal date: See your next billing date and billing cycle

Seat changes are handled through Stripe. You can add seats directly from the Billing tab.

All AI processing is handled by Azure OpenAI in Canada East and never leaves Canada. For organizations that also need real-time collaboration traffic to stay in Canada, Bizby can pin WebSocket connections to Toronto.

  1. Open Enterprise Settings and go to the Compliance tab
  2. Toggle data residency to Canada

When Canada data residency is enabled, WebSocket connections are routed through dedicated infrastructure in Toronto instead of Cloudflare’s global edge network. All stored data remains in the Montreal Google Cloud region regardless of this setting.

For more details, see the Security Overview.

The audit log tracks administrative actions across your enterprise for compliance and accountability.

  1. Open Enterprise Settings and go to the Audit Log tab
  2. Browse events by category: Board, Member, SSO, Settings
  3. Filter by action type or date range
  4. Export the log to CSV for external reporting
