Frames & Groups

Overview

Frames and groups help you organize content on your canvas. Frames act as containers with labels and preset sizes — they also double as slides in Presentation Mode. Groups let you bundle shapes together so they move and resize as a unit.

Frames

Preset Sizes

Section titled “Preset Sizes”
  • A4 — Standard document size
  • Letter — US letter size
  • 16:9 — Widescreen presentation format
  • Custom — Draw any size frame on the canvas

How to Use

  1. Select the Frame tool from the toolbar
  2. Choose a preset size or draw a custom frame
  3. Drag content into the frame — shapes inside the frame move with it
  4. Click the frame label to rename it

Tips

  • Frames are used as slides in Presentation Mode
  • AI features like summarize and poll creation work on frame content
  • Export frames as PDF — multiple frames produce a multi-page document

Groups

How to Use

Section titled “How to Use”
  1. Select multiple shapes
  2. Press Cmd/Ctrl + G to group them
  3. Press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + G to ungroup

Behavior

Section titled “Behavior”
  • Grouped shapes move, resize, and rotate together
  • Double-click a group to select individual shapes inside
  • Groups can be nested
