Share Links (Team & Team+)
Section titled “Share Links (Team & Team+)”Share links give anyone with the URL instant access to your board — no sign-up required.
Creating a Share Link
Section titled “Creating a Share Link”- Open the board you want to share
- Click the Share button in the top toolbar
- In the Team Settings tab, find the Anyone with the link dropdown at the bottom
- Select an access level:
- Viewer — Anyone with the link can view the board (Team & Team+)
- Editor — Anyone with the link can view and edit the board (Team+ only)
- No access — Disables the share link
- Click Copy Share Link
- Send the link to anyone
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”- Recipients open the link in any browser and see the board immediately
- No Bizby account is required — anonymous access is handled automatically
- Viewer links are read-only: recipients can pan, zoom, and view all content but cannot make changes
- The board owner can change or revoke the share link at any time by setting access back to No access
Use Cases for Read-Only Share Links
Section titled “Use Cases for Read-Only Share Links”- Client reviews — Share a board for feedback without giving edit access
- Presentations — Send a link so stakeholders can revisit the board after a meeting
- Status updates — Share a project board as a live dashboard
- Proposals — Let prospects view your work without needing an account
Guest Invites (Team+ Only)
Section titled “Guest Invites (Team+ Only)”For collaborators who need ongoing or tracked access, Team+ offers email-based guest invites with per-user permissions. See Team+ Plan for full details.
Guest invites differ from share links:
- Share links are anonymous — anyone with the URL can access the board
- Guest invites are tied to a specific email address and require the recipient to accept the invitation
Organization Controls (Enterprise)
Section titled “Organization Controls (Enterprise)”In an enterprise organization, the owner decides how people outside the organization reach its boards, under Enterprise Settings > Security > External access:
- Allow share links off: share links stop working, including links already sent
- Allow guests off: guests can’t be invited, and guests already invited lose access
- Require two-step verification for guests on: guests need a code from an authenticator app, and share links stay off. See Two-Step Verification
Revoking Access
Section titled “Revoking Access”Share Links
Section titled “Share Links”Set the access level dropdown back to No access and click Save. The link will stop working immediately.
Guest Invites (Team+)
Section titled “Guest Invites (Team+)”Open the Share dialog, go to Guest Settings, and click Remove next to the guest.
Common Questions
Section titled “Common Questions”Q: Do people need a Bizby account to use a share link? A: No. Share links work without an account on both Team and Team+ plans.
Q: Can Team plan users create editor share links? A: No. Team plans support viewer (read-only) share links only. Upgrade to Team+ for editor share links and guest invites.
Q: What happens if I downgrade from Team+ to Team? A: Any editor share links will be capped to viewer access. Guest invites will be removed.
Q: Can I have both a share link and guest invites on the same board? A: Yes (Team+ only). Share links and guest invites work independently. A guest invite can grant different permissions than the share link.
