Paste at Cursor
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Paste at cursor preference controls where Bizby drops pasted content on the canvas. With it on, anything you paste (a sticky note, a shape, a text block, an image, or a group of items) lands at your cursor and is placed inside a frame you’re hovering over. With it off, pasted content anchors relative to your current selection.
The Two Modes
Section titled “The Two Modes”Paste at cursor (on)
Section titled “Paste at cursor (on)”- Position: the paste is centered on the cursor’s current page position
- Parent: if the cursor is over a frame, the pasted content becomes a child of that frame; otherwise it sits on the page
- Best for: workshops, brainstorming, and any flow where you want to point at where content should go
Paste at cursor (off)
Section titled “Paste at cursor (off)”- Position: Bizby places the paste directly on top of the source, so the copy stacks exactly over the original
- Parent: the paste inherits the parent from your selection, so it lands in the same frame as the source
- Best for: workflows where you want the copy to start in the exact same spot as the original, ready to drag, resize, or restyle
How to Toggle
Section titled “How to Toggle”- Open the hamburger menu (☰) at the top-left of any board
- Go to Preferences
- Toggle Paste at cursor
The setting persists across sessions and applies to all boards on the same browser profile.
