Drag a .pptx file from Finder/Explorer onto a Bizby board and the deck is converted server-side and added to the canvas as a slide-deck shape. Slides stream in as they’re rendered — you can start working before the whole deck has finished loading. The original file stays attached to the shape so it can be downloaded later.

  1. Drag a .pptx file from your computer onto a Bizby board (or paste a .pptx from your clipboard)
  2. A slide-deck placeholder appears immediately on the canvas with a spinner
  3. The first slide lands within a few seconds; remaining slides stream in after
  4. Select the deck to bring up its floating toolbar with Previous, slide counter, Next, Download, and Lock
  5. Drag the deck’s handles to resize like any other shape

When a slide-deck is selected, the floating context toolbar shows:

  • Previous / Next — Navigate between slides
  • Slide counter (e.g. 3 of 24) — Current slide and total
  • Download — Download the original .pptx file the deck was imported from
  • Lock — Prevent accidental moves or edits
  • More (kebab) — Opens the standard right-click menu (Copy, Duplicate, Delete, alignment, etc.)
  • Copy as PNG / Export as PNG / Export as SVG — From the kebab menu, these export the currently shown slide, not the whole deck
  • Copy / Paste between boards — Pasting a slide-deck onto a different board re-uploads each slide and the source .pptx to the destination board so the new copy independently owns its data; deleting the original board never breaks the copy
  • Workshop kickoff — Drop a deck onto a workshop board so participants can view, annotate, and zoom on the same surface
  • Design review — Drag a stakeholder deck in for inline feedback alongside other work on the canvas
  • Quote / proposal review — Bring a sales deck onto a board so the team can comment in context
  • Reference material — Keep a deck attached to a working board for the duration of a project
